Jack Coogan

Jack Coogan is the Managing Director of Regulatory Policy at Longbow Public Policy Group, LLC.  His work focuses on all manner of federal regulatory activity and executive branch actions. Mr. Coogan helps clients track and understand regulatory developments within and across federal agencies, synthesizes and contextualizes regulatory actions, and consults clients on how best to navigate and engage in the federal rulemaking process. Mr. Coogan regularly engages on regulatory actions by the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.  Prior to joining Longbow Public Policy, Mr. Coogan interned for Pennsylvania Senator Robert Casey and then worked for an international nonprofit focused on fighting global poverty through regulatory and legislative advocacy in the United States. 

Mr. Coogan is a graduate of Bucknell University, where he received a B.A. in political science. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Mr. Coogan currently resides in Washington, D.C. He is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys spending time with his friends, family, and two dogs.
